Thyon is 180 km from Geneva international airport (2 hours by car, 3 hours by public transport) and 30 minutes from Sion.

In winter

Thyon is part of one of the world’s largest ski areas, the “Quatre Vallées”: 410km of pistes and 95 ski lifts. This almost limitless ski area means you can ski all the way to the famous resort of Verbier.

Skiing takes up a lot of visitors’ time in winter: equipment hire, ski lessons, snow gardens, torch-lit descents – there’s something for every level of skier. Thyon offers other activities such as dog sledding, ice skating and hiking.

In summer

In summer, the snow gives way to green mountains. This is the season for hiking, cycling, mountain scooters, horse riding and cheese making.

The resort also offers relaxation and meditation breaks, an educational trail to explore the flora and fauna, and an opportunity to learn how to make raclette cheese.

In a few words

Thyon is a place where families will find activities for everyone and where mountain enthusiasts can enjoy the mountains 365 days a year.

A quiet village with all amenities and direct access to the mountains.
